The plans are beginning to come together!! We found as we began to plan that many of the individual elements and much of what is important and sentimental to us as a couple had a common thread--New Orelans. So we're taking a fun, special theme and running with it! I'm calling it "Elegant French Quarter." Our colors are Aubergine (eggplant), brushed gold, and splashes of ivory. A few hints of Mardi Gras for fun but mostly an infusion of french quarter style.

The Jack Brass Band (the band that was playing when we first met) will be providing us with amazing New Orleans style, funky brass band music, so get ready to boogie!!

D'amico is doing the catering, Noah Wolf will be doing the photography (he's also responsible for the fabulous engagement photos and save the date card), and Martha Postlewaite will be officiating the ceremony along with some help from a dear high school friend, Amy Wick-Moore. Besides that things are in motion but nothing definite has been decided. I won't give away anymore details!! At least for now....
